Privacy Policy

Effective July 13, 2026

The short version. Looking at prices requires no account and no contact information. If you submit a request, we share it with one participating dealer, and only that dealer, so it can respond. We keep a record of your consent, we don't sell your information to data brokers, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

1. Scope

This policy describes how Complete Car Lease ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information on completecarlease.com (the "Site"). Using the Site means you accept this policy.

2. What we collect

Information you provide. Nothing is required to browse prices. If you submit a request, we collect your name, mobile number, email address, ZIP code, the vehicle and offer you selected, your stated preferences (such as timing and contact preference), and which consent boxes you checked.

Information collected automatically. IP address, approximate location derived from your connection (used to suggest your ZIP), device and browser type, the pages and steps you interact with, and how you arrived at the Site (for example, campaign parameters in the link you clicked). We store small amounts of data in your browser (localStorage) so the Site remembers your progress, and we use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from bots.

What we do not collect. No Social Security numbers, no date of birth, no credit information. Viewing prices never involves a credit check.

3. How we use it

To send your request to one participating dealership so it can contact you about the offer you selected.
To email you current specials for your area, when you ask for that.
To operate, secure, and improve the Site, including aggregate funnel analytics.
To keep a record of the consents you gave (what you agreed to, when, and from which device), as required for telemarketing and text-message compliance.
To comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. How we share it

One participating dealer. Each request is shared with one dealership, not broadcast to a network. The dealer receives your contact information, ZIP code, selected vehicle and offer, preferences, and consent record, and may use it to contact you as described in the consent language you agreed to.

Service providers. Companies that host our infrastructure, store our data, deliver messages, and provide analytics or anti-bot services process information on our behalf under contractual limits.

Legal. We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights and safety, and as part of a business transfer if the Site changes ownership.

Providing your request to a dealership in exchange for payment may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under some state privacy laws. That is the entire model of the Site, it happens only when you submit a request, and you can opt out as described in section 7. We do not sell information to data brokers and we do not share your information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Text messages and calls

You will only receive automated marketing texts if you checked the SMS box. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help. You can revoke consent to calls, texts, or emails at any time by following the opt-out in the message or emailing us.

6. Retention and security

We keep request and consent records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal record-keeping requirements, then delete or de-identify them. Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted, and our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare. No security is perfect; we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

7. Your rights and choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy request". We will verify your request using the contact details you submitted and respond within the time required by your state's law.

Residents of California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Texas) have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of sale or sharing, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We honor those rights for everyone, regardless of state.

8. Children

The Site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a minor submitted information, email us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We may update this policy by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted on the Site.
